From Toronto, take Hwy 401 E towards Kingston.
Take exit 410 to Brock Street S.
Continue on Brock Street S to Baldwin Street S/Hwy 12 N.
Keep left to continue on Baldwin Street S/Hwy 12 N.
Turn right on Reach Street.
All participants must park at the Scugog Community Recreation Centre. Shuttle buses will be provided from the Recreation centre to the Festival site from 6:30am-6:30pm. All vehicles illegally parked will be tagged and/or towed at the Townships discretion.
Mixed Division - $900.00 +HST
Women’s Division - $900.00 +HST
BCS Division - $900.00 +HST
University/Youth Division - $900.00 +HST
All divisions have an early-bird price of $875.00 +HST if registered prior to March 15th.
Brand new for 2019, Port Perry will now have a “Seniors” final! Teams with athletes who are 50+ may choose to participate in this final, with a chance to win the “Seniors Cup”!
All teams have the opportunity to book 2 practice sessions – the schedule for practice availability will be sent out 1 month prior to the festival. Teams who require a steersperson can book one for an additional $100/practice.

Shuttle buses begin running at 6:30am and race head quarters will open at 7:00am for teams to complete any outstanding registration documents. Captain’s meeting to take place at 7:30am at the Festival Pergola on the public wharf (northeast side of the Latchmen Centre). Opening ceremonies and marshalling for first race at 8:00am. Closing ceremonies will take place at 4:00pm.
Race schedule will be posted one week prior to race date. Teams are asked to arrive no later than 1 hour prior to their first scheduled race.
Race Format: All teams will race in two 200m heats, and one 200m final. Format for the “Seniors Cup” final will be announced at a later date.
Gold, Silver & Bronze medals will be awarded to the top 3 teams in all divisions.
Each team will receive 25 medals, however if you need additional medals, you may purchase them for $10 each.
As of January 1st, 2019, Alkame Dragon Boat Services is the new owner and operator of Lively Dragon events. Our mission is to continue the legacy that Jackie & Ramsay have begun, by providing our teams, vendors and communities with down-to-earth, positive, and honest communication, teamwork, and most of all fun, both before and during our festivals.
